Teo Ederle is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger and producer who trained both by studying cello, organ and trombone at the Conservatory of Verona and by learning self-taught guitar, bass, flute, sax, drums and finally the double bass.
His latest work entitled "Fishes" is dedicated to the underwater world, an enchanted landscape of visions between the familiar and the improbable, in which the lights of the dry world filter creating bluish and purplish reflections and in which reality merges into dreams or in memory. Imaginatively endowed with a prodigious breathing capacity we can remain hidden under a stone on the seabed, or peek through a crack at the insidious world around us hidden inside a shell. In front of our eyes, in a swarm of ascending bubbles and among the waving and leafy marine algae, we can thus assist the parade of almost magical creatures, fish with astonished or careless looks, minute and feverish crustaceans, small constellations of microorganisms in transit like clouds driven by the wind, serious absorbed and brooding cetaceans, a sumptuous and placid mobula… Ederle calls them by name, for each of them he has a story, an anecdote to tell, a portrait to outline with his music using a team of capable musicians to marry the visions of the author and to connect intimately with this mysterious abysmal dream.
